WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians across various specialties. We prioritize quality, compassionate care, and state-of-the-art healthcare for our patients and community.

We are an established, hospital-owned orthopaedic group seeking a full-time BC/BE orthopaedic foot & ankle surgeon to manage a comprehensive range of foot & ankle injuries at our Cary, NC offices. Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship, and be board certified or eligible. The role includes general orthopaedic call supported by physician assistants, with a 1:6 weekend and holiday rotation evenly distributed. You will have the opportunity to perform full scope foot/ankle surgeries, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma, with access to excellent referral sources.

This practice includes 23 physicians, 35 APPs, experienced staff, and seven office locations in greater Raleigh. Primary coverage is at WakeMed Cary Hospital, with access to two ambulatory surgery centers.

We offer a competitive two-year guaranteed salary, transitioning to a production-based model, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
