Job summary

Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport, CA, seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join a small, collaborative team serving Lake County and surrounding communities. The incoming physician will provide a full spectrum of orthopedic care, including clinic consultations, injections, fracture management, and surgical interventions, with a busy practice and strong referral support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted California medical license, or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• DEA certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full spectrum of orthopedic care, including clinic consultations, treatment planning, injections, fracture management, and surgical interventions.
• Develop a diverse patient panel and maintain an active surgical practice with referrals from hospital and community providers.
• Manage patient communications, review referrals, medication refills, disability documentation, and cast/splint management.
• Collaborate with a two-physician orthopedic team and hospital leadership to meet community needs.
