Qualifications

• BE/BC in orthopedic surgery with foot and ankle specialization.
• Board eligibility or certification required.
• Experience in both conservative and surgical foot/ankle care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a broad range of foot and ankle conditions.
• Utilize conservative care and advanced surgical techniques to relieve pain.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Coordinate imaging (X-ray, MRI) when appropriate and refer to surgery when indicated.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, PAs, and therapists within a multispecialty team.

Job description

Orthopedic Group based in San Francisco, CA is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Foot Surgeon to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice within a collaborative environment offering comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care.

The incoming surgeon will evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of foot and ankle conditions, utilizing both conservative care and advanced surgical techniques to relieve pain, restore function, and improve mobility.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday with some call (additional call compensation)
• Join an established group representing a broad range of orthopedic subspecialties
• Work alongside orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, and other clinical professionals
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
• Treat ligament, tendon and cartilage injuries, fractures, muscle strains, tendinitis, and repetitive-use conditions
• Manage sports-related injuries involving the shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle, and other joints
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Utilize conservative treatment options, including physical therapy, activity modification, medication, and injections
• Coordinate imaging, including X-rays and MRI, when appropriate
• Refer and collaborate with surgical colleagues when operative treatment is indicated
• Care for a diverse and active patient population in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Primarily weekday practice environment
