Job description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Orthopedic Surgery - Orthopedic Surgeon Clifton NJ

We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our well-established medical group full time in Clifton, NJ. We are a well-established Orthopedic-driven, multi-specialty group, and we are looking to hire an orthopedic surgeon who is Fellowship-Trained in either Total Joint Replacement surgery or Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. Ideally, we are seeking a bilingual general orthopaedic surgeon who is comfortable treating personal injury patients, as well as patients suffering from other causes of acute and chronic etiologies. We have several locations in North NJ and the incoming general orthopaedic surgeon will be covering some of our offices but is not required to travel to all.

We are accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery. The ideal candidate can perform most complex and routine total knee and total hip replacement surgeries. Revision experience is a must. Robotic arm assisted surgery experience is a plus. Candidate should be comfortable performing arthroscopy and surgical repairs of the shoulders, hips, and knees. This position is a combination of office hours and surgical procedures. A full support team will be assigned to the provider, i.e. surgical coordinator and medical assistant, as well as a physician assistant who can provide surgical first assist.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  1. Orthopedic Total Joint Replacement & Sports Medicine patient care
  2. Office hours, surgical procedures, in office procedures and injections
  3. Collaboration with the physicians, physician assistants, medical professionals, and administrative staff for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:
  1. BC Orthopedic Surgeon fellowship trained in either Total Joint Replacement surgery or Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy
  2. Active New Jersey medical license or proof of recent application
  3. NY medical license also preferred but not required (We can assist in maintaining one)
  4. Revision experience is a must (total knee and hip)
  5. Robotic arm assisted surgery experience is a plus
  6. Spine Fellowship a plus
  7. Bilingual a plus

Compensation:

$300k to $500k
