Job summary

UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg, FL, and The Villages, FL is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Orthopedics physician. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the evaluation and surgical management of injuries.

Experience is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered. Must hold a Florida medical license; four years of relevant experience expected, residency may substitute. Florida DEA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida with four years of appropriate experience; completion of a residency may substitute for the required experience.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate orthopedic injuries and provide surgical management.
• Primarily serve UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg and The Villages, FL.
