Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Perform orthopedic surgical and non‑surgical procedures consistent with training and expertise.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care.
  • Collaborate with emergency medicine and primary care physicians.
  • Participate in call coverage as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Adhere to hospital quality and safety standards.

It is the only acute care hospital in the Mid‑Valley area and the only Level III Trauma Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and Level II Newborn Nursery in Weslaco. With more than 300 physicians on the medical staff and more than 450 employees, Knapp is one of the largest employers in the region.

Responsibilities
