Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas, seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join and expand its orthopedic service line. This hospital-employed (or aligned private practice) opportunity offers strong surgical volume and an established referral base in a community hospital setting.

The candidate should have an MD or DO, Texas license (or eligibility), and DEA registration. Excellent clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills are required; relocation or sign-on

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Texas medical license or eligible to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care, and specialty providers.
• Participate in call coverage as assigned.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
