Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join and expand its orthopedic service line. This full-time position offers strong surgical volume, an established referral base, and the opportunity to practice in a growing community.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and collaborating with other providers.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligible for or active Texas medical license
• DEA license or eligibility
• Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
• Perform orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care and specialty providers
• Participate in call coverage as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Adhere to hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards
