Job summary

The U.S. Army Medical Department seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join its care teams and advance the boundary of orthopedic medicine.

You will work alongside leading professionals on groundbreaking procedures while serving humanitarian missions and benefiting from competitive military packages. Qualifications include an MD/DO from a US- accredited school, active US licensure, board eligibility, and completion of orthopedic training.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school; foreign grads may apply with ECFMG permanent certificate.
  • Current license to practice medicine in the United States (DC or PR allowed).
  • Eligibility for board certification.
  • Completion of at least one year of approved graduate medical education internship.
  • Completion of a training program in orthopedic surgery.
  • Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers on a case-by-case basis).
  • U.S. citizenship.
