The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for performing orthopedica surgical operations, outpatient ambulatory surgical procedures, and outpatient surgery consultations for new and established patients, The Orthopedic Surgeon is expected to follow each patient through the full continuum of care to include, but not limited to: Admissions, discharges, peforming histories and physicals, assisting in the full coordination of diagnostic tests and procedures prior to surgery, education and counseling of the patient and family members.
The Orthopedic Surgeon will adhere to policies and procedures regarding the completion of orders, operation reports, discharge summaries, progress notes, clinical reminders, performance measures and all generally accepted practices.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine/surgery in the State of Washington. Proficient in spoken and written English. Knowledge and abilities to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, to perform the four operations with like or common decimal fractions; to compute ratio, rate and perfect; to draw and interpret bar graphs; to perform arithmetic operations involving all American monetary units. Ability to read literature, charts, medical records, prescriptions, scientific and technical journals and business correspondence.
SALARY:Full time, Exempt,$315,350.00-$550,000.00
