Job summary

Job description

Job Overview

Olympic Medical Physicians’ Orthopaedic team provides orthopaedic services at Olympic Medical Center, a Level III Trauma facility located in Port Angeles, Washington. The position is 100% FTE with variable pay ranging from $104,915.20 to $535,600.00 and includes shift differentials and premiums.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive orthopaedic surgical services to the trauma facility.
  • Respond to first‑call orthopaedic PA‑C or ARNP calls.
  • Utilize the integrated EPIC electronic health record system with local and regional hospital networks.
  • Manage patient follow‑up through the robust orthopaedic clinic system.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person‑centered care to rural patients.
Education
  • Medical degree from an accredited school.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Board certification in orthopaedic surgery (ABOS) or completion of the examination process.
Experience
  • Completion of an orthopaedic surgery residency.
  • Two or more years of practice in orthopaedic trauma surgery preferred.
Licensure & Credentials
  • Unrestricted active license to practice medicine in Washington.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Maintains appropriate privileges and membership with OMC Medical Staff.
  • Continuing medical education credits as required by Washington State and OMC staff requirements.
