MascMedical in Austin, TX seeks a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to join a growth-oriented group serving communities across Texas. The role focuses on helping patients recover from injuries, including auto accidents, using advanced treatment options and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Austin is preferred but Dallas or San Antonio are also open options. The position offers $600k-$700k compensation, health insurance, 401k, and company-paid life insurance, with STD/LTD and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Licensed Orthopedic Surgeon in good standing in Texas.
• Current BLS certification, board certification, and DEA certification.
• 2+ years of practice experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work a Monday through Friday schedule during regular business hours with no hospital call.
• Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and musculoskeletal assessments with an emphasis on evidence-based clinical care.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including fractures, joint issues, and degenerative bone diseases.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment and care plans tailored to patient needs and recovery goals.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date medical records, ensuring timely completion of notes and charting.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication with patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on their orthopedic conditions, recovery expectations, preventive care, and rehabilitation options.

• Verbal and written Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
• Efficient time management in a busy clinic setting.
• Full adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations and ethical considerations of the practice of medicine.
