Qualifications

• Experience in orthopedic spine surgery preferred; newly trained fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
• MD or DO degree with residency in Orthopedic Surgery and specialized spine training.
• Strong surgical expertise and clinical judgment for complex spinal conditions.
• Excellent communication, patient management, and collaborative skills for long-term practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with spinal disorders through consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans, including surgery if needed.
• Build and manage an established practice with strong referral relationships and dedicated staff support.
• Decide whether to focus on spine surgery or incorporate general orthopedics based on strategy and patient needs.
