Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for a 36-bed Orthopedic Unit specializing in postoperative spine care. You will apply the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and coordination with the care team.

In this role, you’ll maintain patient rights, support multidisciplinary collaboration, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Sign-on bonuses and education assistance accompany a comprehensive benefits package for qualifying staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
• ACLS and BLS certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process with accountability and safety
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and caregivers
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information
• Support the spinal surgery and orthopedic patient care in a 36-bed unit
