Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Texas to perform a wide range of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The role supports other imaging staff and assists in maintaining smooth patient flow across shifts and campuses as needed.

The technologist will troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, ensure image processing and archiving quality, and pursue ongoing education in safety and technical advances within licensure scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Radiography (R) by ARRT is required.
• State licensure required (Texas MRT by TMB; Louisiana LRT; New Mexico RRT).
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.

• Supports imaging staff and physicians to optimize patient flow and throughput.
• Promotes staff growth and engagement; collaborates with management and physicians.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS; follows downtime procedures as PACS Superuser.
• Reports equipment malfunctions and follows up with Biomedical personnel.
