Job summary

Healthcare United in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant with Orthopedic Spine focus to join an established orthopedic practice.

The PA will manage preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients under the supervision of Orthopedic Spine Surgeons, support continuity of care, and collaborate with a strong clinical team in a physician-owned setting. The schedule emphasizes 3–4 surgery days per week and a balanced work life.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant credential required.
• Experience or strong interest in Orthopedic Trauma and Spine preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced surgical and clinical environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients under the direction of Orthopedic Spine Surgeons.
• Assist in coordinating and supporting patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Work closely with surgeons and clinical staff in a team oriented orthopedic practice setting.
• Participate in a practice with surgery scheduled approximately 3 to 4 days per week.
• Join a rapidly expanding physician owned orthopedic group with strong long term potential.
