Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls is seeking registered nurses for the Orthopedics unit. This RN role offers rotating days/nights with weekend coverage, a pay range of $32.50-$48.50 per hour based on experience, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

You will deliver compassionate nursing care, develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and the broader health-care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to work hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and develops care plans after reviewing medical histories.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
• Collaborates with physicians and the health-care team and documents care.
• Maintains infection-control standards and safe medication practices.
