Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit, a 30-bed postoperative care area focusing on total joint and spine surgeries. You will implement nursing standards, provide direct patient care, and serve as a charge nurse per the Nurse Manager's expectations.

The role emphasizes using the nursing process, following physician orders and hospital policies to ensure high-quality care during the patient stay on a dedicated orthopedic unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NCBON approved School of Nursing or graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Ability to relate effectively to patients, families, physicians, staff and others.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and function as a charge nurse per Nurse Manager expectations.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process in line with physician orders and hospital policies.
