Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. in Great Falls, MT, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as the primary clinical liaison in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.

The role emphasizes teamwork, high-quality outcomes, and personalized patient care while coordinating daily clinical workflows and ensuring clear communication across the interdisciplinary team. The RN will triage patient calls, assist with examinations and procedures, manage charting and prior authorizations, supervise CNAs and schedulers,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred).
• Current Montana RN license is required; LPN or CMA credentials not preferred.
• BLS certification is required; orthopedic/outpatient experience a plus.
• Strong clinical knowledge of nursing practice and orthopedic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily clinical operations in the orthopedic clinic.
• Triage patient calls, assess needs, and determine care pathways.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Process prescriptions refills and medical prior authorizations efficiently.
• Supervise CNAs and schedulers; ensure clear direction and teamwork.
• Record vitals, update EHR, and prep patients for visits and follow-ups.
• Maintain a safe, family-centered environment with accountability.
