Job summary

Mercy South Orthopedics in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the day shift in Orthopedics. This full-time role is 36 hours per week, with shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and a sign-on bonus for experienced nurses up to $10,000.

You will apply the nursing process to patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold Mercy's Service Standards. BLS is required; hospital experience is preferred; BSN is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed education paths.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure as allowed by state board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in Orthopedics.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintains accountability to Mercy Service Standards and contributes to care quality.
