Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. in Park City, Utah seeks a Radiology Technician to perform diagnostic imaging, ensure patient comfort, and maintain imaging quality in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities include accurate patient positioning, equipment upkeep, and timely communication with the medical team while following HIPAA guidelines. ARRT certification and Utah license required; PRN shifts available.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification or equivalent.
• Valid Utah state licensure for Radiologic Technology.
• Experience in radiology, ideally in an orthopedic or surgical setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiology techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and a strong commitment to patient care and comfort.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible with PRN shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays in accordance with orthopedic protocols and safety standards.
• Position patients correctly to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain radiology equipment and ensure imaging procedures follow guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Assist in preparation and aftercare of patients for a smooth process.
• Follow all radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and imaging files.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and staff to support patient care.
• Respond quickly to urgent imaging requests in a fast-paced setting.
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
