Job summary

OrthoVirginia, Virginia’s largest orthopedic specialty practice, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced outpatient imaging team.

You’ll produce high-quality diagnostic images, operate radiographic and C-arm equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Virginia license, ARRT certification, and 2+ years of experience are preferred. We offer flexible PRN scheduling and opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia Radiologic Technologist License is required.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 2+ years Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and obtain high-quality digital images
• Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively
• Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification
• Follow radiation safety protocols and industry best practices to minimize exposure
• Maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Assist with additional clinical and departmental responsibilities as needed
