Job summary

The Hughston Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist in producing high quality radiographs and support physicians and staff in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will ensure patient positioning, operate portable and C-Arm equipment where applicable, and maintain strict radiation safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a two-year radiologic technology program and state licensure coursework, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program or equivalent military training.
• Completion of coursework required for appropriate state licensure and certification(s) (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in producing high quality radiographs.
• Know radiographic technique and understand requisitions and views.
• Position patients and assist with lifting when needed.
• Operate portables and C-Arm equipment if applicable.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Train and supervise student technologists.
• Maintain radiation safety and shielding practices.
• Import and upload outside CDs for clinic.
