Job summary

Health Marketing is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our orthopedic PRN team, providing bedside care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

You will monitor vitals, administer medications, manage wound and cast care, and document in the EMR, collaborating with RNs, physicians, and therapists. A compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient safety are essential; PRN shifts offer flexibility in a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration, monitoring, and wound/cast support.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary care teams.
• Detail-oriented EMR documentation and patient education.
• Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and clinical status
• Administer medications and assist with orthopedic procedures
• Provide wound care and support cast/splint care as directed
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
• Reinforce discharge instructions and provide patient/family education
• Coordinate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to support safe, high-quality care
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered support
