Job summary

Icon Health in Las Vegas is seeking a physician assistant with orthopedic outpatient experience to join our telehealth and care navigation team. You will conduct initial telehealth visits, order imaging, and guide patients to in-person care when needed.

This full-time hybrid role requires active Nevada license, strong patient communication, collaboration with therapists and physicians, and ability to navigate digital platforms with ease.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Nevada.
• Minimum of 5 years as a PA in outpatient orthopedics.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient engagement skills.
• Clinician-to-clinician coordination with other providers.
• Comfort learning and using several telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial orthopedic telehealth visits including diagnosis, imaging orders, and referrals for in-person care.
• Perform in-office injections 2-3 days per week.
• Build trust with patients through empathy, knowledge and shared decision making.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other Icon clinicians.
• Create personalized treatment plans and guide patients through their journey with the care coordinator.
• Contribute feedback to Icon product enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial orthopedic telehealth visits including but not limited to diagnosis, ordering imaging, and referring patients for in person care when appropriate
• Perform in office injections 2-3 days per week
• Build trust with patients through empathy, knowledge, experience, and shared decision making
• Communicate and collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the Icon clinical team
• Create the patient’s personalized treatment plan and along with your dedicated care coordinator, determine next steps and navigate the patient through the journey
• Participate in Icon product enhancement through feedback on the current technology platform

• Licensed to practice in Nevada
• Minimum of 5 years as a PA practicing in outpatient orthopedics with experience in multiple subspecialties
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage patients in an empathetic manner
• Excellent clinician to clinician interpersonal skills to engage and coordinate with other providers
• Comfortable learning and utilizing several technology and telehealth platforms
• Hard-working and able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

• $UP to $5,000 Relocation Bonus available
• Yearly Salary Commensurate with Experience
• Malpractice and Supervising MD will be provided
• State Licensing and NCCPA Fees are covered
• Hours: Full Time (Hours are Monday-Friday or 8-4 or 9-5 in local time zone)

Hybrid - 2 days seeing virtual telehealth and 3 days per week in person
