Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certified Virginia State License.
• BLS certification and CEUs in clinical practice.
• A minimum of 2 years of orthopedic or related field experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Excellent communication, customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams, compile medical histories, and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies to ensure accurate and timely care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care in coordination with supervising physicians.
• Participate in surgical procedures and intraoperative care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to deliver outcomes.
