Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board certified Virginia State License.
- BLS certification and CEU maintenance commitment.
- Minimum 2 years orthopedic experience preferred; new grads welcome.
- Strong communication, customer service, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies professionally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Educate patients and families on treatments and recovery.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care with supervising physicians.
- Participate in surgical procedures and intraoperative care as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team to improve outcomes.
- Perform procedures and assessments with precision and continuity of care.
