Qualifications

• Successful completion of an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Certified by NCCPA.
• Current, full, active PA license in the US or specified territories.
• US citizenship is required.
• BLS certification current; renew bi-annually at no cost to government.
• Orthopedic Surgery PA experience of 24 months within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for extremity, spine and related conditions.
• Assist orthopedic surgeon in operative and perioperative care.
• Admit and manage patients under orthopedic surgeon supervision.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and document in EHR.
• Provide preventive care and patient education.
• Assist with casting, injections and nonoperative fracture management.
