Job summary

OrthoLA's physical therapy clinic is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 10-12 weeks starting around October. Open to discuss full-time or part-time hours during this period. Therapists treat post-operative and non-operative patients with various orthopedic conditions.

The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatments, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to support recovery and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT (state licensure or eligibility) in the United States.
• Experience evaluating and treating musculoskeletal disorders and postoperative rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient conditions and goals.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, dry needling, gait training, and pain management.
• Design rehab programs for recovery from surgery, injury, or trauma.
• Educate patients on conditions, options, home exercise programs for self-management.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary team for care coordination.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with legal/ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
