Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for Virginia Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the EMR.
• Supervise PTAs and rehab technicians per Virginia practice standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and insurers to coordinate care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
