Job summary

Orthopaedics East & Sports Medicine Center in Greenville, NC is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our growing practice. The role includes treating orthopedic conditions, pre-/post-surgical cases, sports injuries, and chronic pain, with a focus on evidence-based rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, NC PT Licensure.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review Physician's referral and patient's condition to determine physical therapy treatment required.
• Test and measures patient's functional status and records findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
• Plan and prepares treatment program based on evaluation of patient data.
• Instructs, motivates, and assists patient to perform evidence-based rehabilitation interventions.
• Documents treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart.
• Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
• Confers with Physician and other practitioners to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment program, and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient's health care.
• Other related duties as assigned.
