Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Georgia State License granted by the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Specialty certifications welcome; orthopedics preferred.
• Two years experience treating patients in an orthopedic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create treatment plans per physician guidance.
• Perform written re-evaluations and document progress.
• Provide services to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Supervise PTAs to ensure adherence to the plan.
• Supervise technicians to ensure patient involvement within scope.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, OTs, PTs, and case managers for outcomes.
• Document evaluative findings and treatment responses in the EMR.
• Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
• Other duties as assigned.
