Job summary

North Alabama Bone and Joint Clinic in Florence, AL is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver individualized rehab care. You will assess patients, design and implement therapy plans, and educate patients on home exercises and assistive devices to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Active Alabama Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain one.
• Orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of physical therapy processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessments to gather data and inform treatment plans.
• Treatment planning and hands-on physical therapy to improve strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, therapies, and use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with surgeons, PTAs, OTAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care plans.
• Document patient progress, plans, and notes per clinic policies.
