UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine seeks a Full Time, Exempt Physician Assistant to support Sridhar R. Rachala, MD, in lower extremity joint replacement and reconstruction.

The PA will manage an independent schedule, evaluating new, follow-up, and post‑op patients, and performing in-office injections. Collaboration with a dynamic orthopaedic team is expected across Williamsville and Orchard Park locations.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree from NYS or ARC-PA accredited PA program; NYS licensure upon hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care under supervising physician in orthopaedic practice.
• Manage an independent schedule evaluating new, follow-up, and post-op patients; perform in-office injections.
• Prescribe medications following office protocol and share on-call responsibilities.
• Coordinate with office team and surgeon; complete dictations timely.
• Prepare surgery charts to optimize patient readiness; ensure orderly discharge planning.
