Job summary

Vail Health in Colorado is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Main OR team. You will support orthopedic cases using sterile technique and advanced devices, including the da Vinci robotic system, alongside a high-performing team.

Requires certification and Colorado license; BLS; strong English; benefits include HIPAA compliance and opportunities to grow in a mountain healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist.
• Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Must have working knowledge of English language.

Responsibilities

• Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and providing instrumentation as needed.
• Maintains and checks all items for packaging, integrity and expiration dates.
• Monitors sterile field and initiates corrective action as needed.
• Maintains flexibility and contributes to individualized patient care.
• Models professional behavior and HIPAA compliance.
