Job summary

Vail Health is seeking an OR RN for our Main OR in beautiful Vail, Colorado. You will support a high-performing team handling diverse surgical cases, with emphasis on orthopedics and advanced tech including the da Vinci robotic system.

Qualifications

• One year operating room experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow within the OR suite to optimize patient care, safety and satisfaction.
• Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote wellness.
• Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures per safety guidelines.
• Completes patient charting including pathology and implant logs.
