Job summary

McFarland Clinic is seeking a registered nurse to work closely with an Orthopedic Surgeon and PA, caring for patients throughout their surgical journey in both clinic and operating room settings.

The role offers a consistent weekday schedule with a supportive team, great work-life balance, and opportunities for pre- and post-operative patient education. Training is provided for those new to the surgical specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Iowa RN license.
• BLS certification for Health Care Providers.
• Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
• Experience is not required; we are happy to train motivated nurses interested in learning a surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the clinic.
• Support operating room procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education.
