Job summary

Nebraska Orthopaedic Center in Lincoln, NE seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our orthopedic sports medicine team. You will collaborate with a supervising physician, perform pre-op assessments, order tests, and help manage postoperative care.

Requirements include Nebraska NP license, with DEA license preferred, and some orthopedic experience; a supportive team and opportunities to impact patient recoveries are provided in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Nebraska NP license in good standing.
• DEA license is preferred.
• Two years experience is preferred, but not required (Current students are encouraged to apply).
• Orthopedic knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care under physician direction.
• Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
• Prescribe, dispense, and administer medications and orthopaedic devices.
• Participate in hospital rounds and call coverage for orthopedic surgeons.
• Assist with surgical preparation, intraoperative support, and patient documentation.
