About the Role

We’re looking for an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to help grow Hinge Health’s virtual orthopedic services. In this role, you will be the primary contact for our members and work closely with our expert physicians. You will manage patients throughout their program experience, including triaging program applications, performing patient evaluations, delivering best practice orthopedic care, and guiding our patients to any additional treatment needs.
The ideal candidate is available to work a flexible schedule, has a strong understanding of both conservative and surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions, including patient selection criteria and outcomes for common MSK surgeries. You have a great ‘bedside’ manner that makes patients feel comfortable throughout all stages of their experience. You would work well in a telehealth environment, utilize a holistic approach to care, and have an understanding of the healthcare system that allows you to help patients navigate to the right care. Lastly, you would thrive in a rapidly growing and changing environment, contributing your ideas to help our team continuously improve our operations and quality of care.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Work closely with our expert physician to provide virtual care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions utilizing research-based best practice treatments.

  • Perform virtual patient evaluations utilizing strong clinical judgment, good bedside manner and a biopsychosocial approach.

  • Prescribe non-controlled medications when appropriate.

  • Assist patients with implementing their care plan recommendations and care navigation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP primary certification)

  • Active RN and APRN licenses (any state) ideally compact or multi-state licensure preferred

  • Minimum 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an orthopedic or musculoskeletal setting (outpatient preferred)

  • Telehealth experience and/or comfort delivering virtual patient care

  • Located within PST/CST/MST time zones (or able to cover core virtual clinic hours)

  • Available to rotate working evenings and weekends.

  • Strong reliable internet connection and work in a place that adheres to all PHI/HIPAA standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ONP-C certification

  • Bonus for multiple state licenses or compact state license

  • Telehealth experience

  • Knowledge of lifestyle medicine

  • Care coordination experience

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. For this position, our salary ranges are listed below:

MD(ex DC Radius), NH (ex Boston Radius), NY (ex NYC Radius), RI (ex Boston Radius), TX (ex Houston), VA (ex DC Radius), WA (ex Seattle Radius), WI (ex Chi Radius), AK, CO, DE, GA, HI, NC, OR, PA - $97,400 - $146,200/year

AL, AZ, AR, FL, ID, IN (ex Chicago), IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, ND, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WV, WY - $88,200 - $132,200/year
