Flagstaff Bone and Joint in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams on-site. You will prepare and position patients, operate Siemens MRI equipment, verify clinical histories, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, image quality, safety, and adherence to infection control standards in a busy orthopedic practice.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI, and current state licensure as required.
• Proficiency in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, and Medical Imaging, including MRI safety, imaging protocols, and equipment operation.
• Foundational understanding of Medicine as it relates to orthopedic conditions, anatomy, and pathology to support accurate imaging and collaboration with providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, verify histories, and document procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment (Siemens) and monitor imaging quality.
• Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
