Job summary

Flagstaff Bone and Joint, PLLC is seeking a Licensed X-Ray Technologist to join our Flagstaff clinic. You will handle heavy X-ray volumes across three machines, greet patients, and ensure high-quality, compliant imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.

The ideal candidate has ARRT licensure, current CPR, and strong knowledge of radiology procedures and safety. MRI experience is a plus as we acquire new MRI capabilities.

Qualifications

• ARRT licensure or AZ licensure required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.
• Skill in positioning patients correctly.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy X-ray volumes in a multi-provider clinic with multiple machines.
• Greet and assist patients; explain procedures and obtain consent.
• Minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles and verify exams.
• Take X-ray exposures per position, dose, and timing protocols.
• Inspect images for FBJ standards and maintain equipment and exam rooms.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and assist patients as needed.
