Medical Device Recruiters is confidentially seeking an Engineering Manager for an established orthopedic medical device manufacturer near Dallas–Fort Worth. You will own the engineering direction and lifecycle of a product family while leading five direct reports, guiding new product development through commercialization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience leading engineers and managing new product development projects.
• Experience taking products from concept through commercialization and supporting products throughout their lifecycle.
• Orthopedic medical device experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of design controls, risk management, verification and validation, and medical device quality systems.
• Strong technical, communication, project leadership, and people development skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a team of five direct reports, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management.
• Own the engineering strategy and lifecycle management of an established product family.
• Lead new product development, product enhancements, and line extensions from concept through commercialization.
• Partner with Product Management and Marketing to prioritize development initiatives based on customer needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to ensure product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Engage with surgeons and key opinion leaders to inform product innovation and address unmet clinical needs.
• Manage project priorities, resources, timelines, and technical risks to deliver successful product launches.
