Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking dependable, patient-focused Medical Assistants to support our providers in a fast-paced clinical setting. In this full-time role, you will prepare charts, escort patients, assist with procedures, and educate patients on post-visit instructions.

You will travel to nearby offices as needed, maintain stocked exam rooms, verify vitals, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification.
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, escort patients, and assist procedures including injections.
• Educate patients on post-visit instructions and verify prescriptions in electronic systems.
• Review vitals and medical histories for accuracy from tablets used in intake.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked clinical workspace at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, high-quality patient flow in a busy clinic.
