Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant program graduate is required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• CMA/CPR/BLS certifications and certification as CCMA/RMA/NCCT/AAMA/ARMA are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competency and patient records per Riverside standards.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examination.
• Administer medications and vaccines under physician supervision.
• Process prescription refill requests and forward to pharmacies.
• Maintain medical inventory and stock exam rooms appropriately.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in daily duties.
• Chaperone during sensitive examinations as needed.
• Assist with patient education and after-visit summaries in the EMR.
• Schedule tests/referrals within network limits and support provider schedules.
• Contribute to quality measures and productivity goals.
