Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking dependable Medical Assistants to support our providers in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. In this full-time role you will help prepare exam rooms, escort patients, assist with injections and dressing changes, and support high-volume clinic operations.

You will educate patients on post-visit instructions, verify information in our electronic systems, and ensure accurate vitals and histories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification (required).
• BLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and escort patients.
• Assist with procedures including injections and dressing changes.
• Educate patients on post-visit instructions and verify information in electronic systems.
• Review and verify patient vitals and medical histories for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked clinical workspace.
