Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lakewood Family Health Center is seeking a caregiver to support orthopaedic and general care teams in Lakewood, OH. The role includes screenings, treatments, updating health information, and coordinating patient care.

You will monitor patient condition, maintain equipment and exam areas, and perform administrative duties such as scheduling and data entry. Requires Medical Assisting training or military medical background with BLS; externship/baseline experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting program or military medical training.
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, to be obtained if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by gathering/updating health data, noting medication changes, allergies, specimens, tests and documenting care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
