We believe that our team provides care that meets or exceeds that found in most other Boston-area hospitals. And, as part of a regional healthcare system, we see patients at three convenient Boston-area locations: CHA Medford Orthopedics, Cambridge Hospital, and the CHA Everett Hospital.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, completion of an approved certified nursing assistant training program or one year of previous experience as a medical assistant in lieu of program completion required.
Maintains current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification. Certification from Accredited Institution for Orthopedic Professionals Required within 6 months of hire
Ability to write and verbally communicate in English. Fluency in a second language is preferred.
Current experience as a Medical Assistant. A minimum of 1 year of Ambulatory Orthopedic Clinic experience preferred. Experience with administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred
