Job summary

Corewell Health's Troy Hospital in Michigan seeks a full-time observer/nurse aide on 6 West Orthopedics. You will assist the RN, transport patients, and document care in the EMR, with a 7:00 am–7:30 pm schedule, 36 hours per week, every third weekend.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care and nursing policy.
• Performs safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher; documents in EMR.
• Acts as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation.
