Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery in Connecticut is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for our physician office setting. Under supervision of a MD, you will assist in treatments, room patients, oversee patient flow, stock exam rooms, and help create medical protocols.

Must have CT State LPN license and BLS. Strong communication and flexibility essential; minimum one year acute care preferred. Regular full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• CT State registration and license is required with BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients under the supervision of a MD in the physician office setting.
• Assist the physician in treatments and procedures and room patients.
• Oversee patient flow, order nursing supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Deliver and maintain medical protocols in the office.
