Job summary

Atrium Health's 7Main (Georgia Center for Joint Care) in Georgia is seeking an experienced RN to join a 23-bed unit focused on total joint procedures. The team offers a supportive, family-like atmosphere and partners with orthopedic surgeons for patient-centered care.

The role requires nursing process expertise, commitment to safety, accurate EHR documentation, and potential float to other units. BSN preferred; BLS required; active RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units/departments as needed within the service area.
• Provide age-appropriate care following department standards.
